Green Steals The Show
After struggling for much of the season and finishing out at 3-4, Green defeated Orange in the first round
of the playoffs last week and kept the momentum going this week. Heading into the final four, Green was the lowest ranked
team and faced Gray in the semis. Gray came in fresh off a bye week and a 6-1 season and were overtaken by the high flying
Green team.
Blue followed up the first game with an upset of their own over Black and the finals featured a 3 v
4 matchup.
Green pulled off one more upset to win the Competitive League title.

Led by Dave Swett's 21, 4 seed Green ran through 5 seed Orange in Thursday night's 1st round opener, 56-37
and will advance to the next round. At one point midway through the 2nd half Green had doubled up on Orange, 44-22. Rocky
Flores scored 20 in the loss.
Green will play Gray next week in the 6:30 game in what promises to be a highly competitive semi final matchup.

Maroon's season came to a close tonight as Blue won game 2 of the doubleheader, 60-53.
Irvin Moore and Jordan Stinglen led all scores with 19 and 18, respectively and TJ Stinglen added 13.
Tim Buchanan scored 15 for Maroon who struggled in the competitive league for much of the season.
Blue will play Black in next week's 7:30 game. The 2 teams will be meeting for the 3rd time this season.
Black has won both games and really controlled much of both of those games, despite a 6 point win in the 2nd match on
March 15.
Both semi final games will be exciting to see with the championship game being played at 8:30.

Maroon Spoils Gray's Perfect Season Taking The Rec. Crown
Monday March 26, 2007
After coming back from 10 down with 3 minutes to go in Game 2 against Orange, Maroon pulled off the biggest
upset of the year with a Championship win over Gray, spoiling a chance for perfection.
Gray rolled over Black in the first semi final game, though Black was able to keep it close for much of
the game. Gray improved to 6-0 heading into the final.
Mike Dean and Ryan Dean led the way with 14 and 11, respectively as Maroon took the title game 42-38
Ryan Hansen scored 9 for Gray and Arty Lane and John Batchelder each added 8 in the loss.

Gray Notches #1 Seed; Black Swipes 2 Seed, Despite Loss To Green
Thursday March 22, 2007
A Black win would have assured themselves of a first round bye, but Green decided to make things interesting,
trying to force tie breakers between the top 3 teams. Joel Beers scored 34 in Black's loss and Dave Swett led Green with 26.
The win does nothing for Green but give them a moral boost, knowing that even with the 4th seed, they have the potential to
knock one of the top seeds out of the tournament.
_______________
Game 2 had the biggest implications of the season, especially considering Black gave the evening's opener
away to Green and allowed the door to stay open for Blue. Unfortunately, the Stinglen brothers were unavailable and Gray walked
away with the win and the top seed after a 6-1 season and a 1-1 split with Blue. Ben Locke scored 19 and Chris Royce added
17 in Gray's 62-55 win.
_______________
Orange and Maroon met in the regular season finale to determine the 5th and 6th seeds. Rocky Flores once
again led Orange with 24, this time for the win and they wrap up the 5th seed and will play Green next week. Maroon will have
to get by Blue in round one. Ben Gumm lefd Maroon with 16.

Black Advances In Grudge Match, Maroon Ends Green's Season
Monday March 19, 2007
The Rec. League playoffs began with a bruising rematch between Black and Blue. It was the third meeting
this season between the 2 clubs, including the preseason exhibition game. The first 2 went Blue's way and tonight Black proved
the old adage that it's very difficult to beat a team 3 times in one season. As was 2 weeks ago, this game was very physical
with alot of tough defense and the occasional hard foul. It came down to the wire and Dan Sandven stepped up big with late
free throws hitting 2 of 4 in the final minute to give Black a 3 point lead. The final: 40-37.
"This was a very tough game," Coach Cheslock said following the game. "I can speak for our whole team, our
hats are off to those guys over there."
Black will play Gray next week in the 6:30 game.
Black (40)- Sandven-8, Barnes-20, C Matthews-2, King-2, Johnson-6, Gawne-2
Blue (37)- McFarland-4, Grover-10, Moynahan-11, Cooper-2, Rockafellow-1, Mayo-2, Bosse-4, Ford-3
________________________________
In tonight's second quarterfinal game the 6th seed Green took on 3rd seed Maroon in a rematch from Week
2 in which Maroon won 41-29. Tonight Maroon not only ended Green's season, but prevented them from earning a single win this
season. Coming in, Green had a tall order to fill having gone 0-5 on the season. Even with a win, they would have had to face
#1 seed Gray next week. But with the Maroon win, Black will now be forced to play Gray.
At the half Green led 15-9 on the shoulders of James Bland and by the time Maroon regained the lead it was
22-20 late in the second half.
Coach Lytle made his return tonight, getting in about 12 minutes and picking up a key steal late in the
game. "Green really brought their A-Game tonight," Lytle said after the game. "I'm glad we were able to get Bret back." Bret
Plickert led Maroon with 9, after having missed the last 3 games. Maroon will take on Orange next week in the second game
at 7:30.
Maroon (30)- M Young-2, Haigh-6, R Dean-7, M Dean-5, N Davis-1, Plickert-9
Green (25)- Landry-4, Josh Bland-4, James Bland-12, Odess-2, Towne-1

Green vs Maroon
Maroon earned their first win of the season and moves into a 2 way tie for 5th place with a 51-48 win over
Green in Thursday's opener. The return of Ben Gumm after missing last week's loss against Black was a welcomed sight as Gumm
poured in 12 points to lead the way for Maroon. Coach Sullivan also picked up a much needed point guard following a 3
team trade, adding Rick Murphy from Orange. Green's Dave Swett scored 22 in the contest.
Gray vs Orange
Gray improves to 5-1 on the season and moves closer to a 1st round bye with the tie breaker over Black.
But having lost to Blue earlier in the season next week's rematch will prove to be crucial to all 3 team's. The tie breaker
situation could be hairy if Black and Gray lose, putting all 3 team's at 5-2. But if Gray win's they would earn the number
1 seed. Orange drops to 1-5 in a 67-59 loss. Rocky Flores (27) continues to score well but Orange is struggling to
get wins. Mike Barker added 12 in his season debut and Collin Cooper, part of the 3 team deal that sent him to Orange from
Gray chipped in 10.
Black vs Blue
Black took a huge step towards a first round bye with another win over Blue. Black had a stronghold on the
game and though winning only 58-52, the game was not as close as it appeared. Joel Beers scored 20 and Jim Bingham added 16.
TJ Stinglen led Blue with 18. Black will have to win to get a first round bye next week. If Black loses to Green and Gray
loses to Blue, the 3 teams will face off in a 3 way tie for first and second.
The tie breaker in that situation would be head to head points scored. The teams that have met twice would
take their highest scoring game, throwing away the lower scoring game. The teams would then combine their offensive outputs
against the 2 other opponents and the highest scoring team would take the 1st seed. The remaining 2 teams would then begin
a new tie breaking session.

Playoff Scenario Decided As Rec. Season Draws To A Close
Monday March 12, 2007
For Gray and Green, tonight's game was just a formality as both teams coming in ha already locked up their
own seeds. With Gray's win last week they has assured themselves the #1 seed and a first round bye, even with a loss this
week. Likewise, even with a win, Green was guaranteed the 6th seed after an 0-4 start.
It was much of the same for both teams as Gray finishes undefeated and Green goes winless in a 52-42 game.
Ryan Hansen led all scores with 15 and jumped 3 spots in the Top 20 to finish the season at third.
Black played yet another physical game and once again came away losers to drop 4 straight after opening
the season 1-0. Maroon was the better team, getting most of their 39 points from the Dean pair. Coach Andrew Lytle suited
up, but it was mostly to force Black to adjust their game plan for the "what if" scenario. Lytle's action was limited to coaching,
leading his team to the 3rd seed.
The night's and season's finale was a game that actually mattered the most, depending on the outcome. Blue
and Orange played a tight game and a late Rockafellow trey cut an Orange lead to 2 making the finish a nail biter. Had Blue
pulled this one off there would have been a 3 way tie between Maroon, Orange and Blue to decide the 2, 3 and 4 seeds. In that
case, points scored between the 3 teams only in head to head play would have been the deciding factor, but Blue couldn't force
the tie breaker and fell to 4th and will play Black next week, for the third time this season (including exhibition).
Orange earns the 2 seed and gets a week of rest. Josh Coates scored only 7, but was still able to take over
1st place in the Top 20. Arty Lane surrendered the top spot after holding it all season.

3 Way Tie Remains As Black, Blue and Gray All Win--Again
Sunday Mar 11 (for Thursday night's games)
The 3 way tie for first place continued after Week 5 as the top 3 teams all win again. Black defeated Maroon
57-32 and Maroon nears a lock for the 6th seed with another loss, falling to 0-5.

Blue and Orange matched up well, but Irvine Moore (25) and Jordan Stinglen (24) led Blue to an 81-72 victory helping
their team improve to 4-1. Rocky Flores scored 25 in the loss, overtaking Ben Locke for fist place in the Top 20.

The final game was the first time we've seen an overtime game in either league this year. Gray scored and
Green would come back. That was how the game played out, but Gray would find enough to finish the job in overtime as Ian Gutpill
(32 points) ran out of gas and Green couldn't keep up.
Jeremy Parmely and Scott Cloutier both broke into the Top 20 this week.

Gray Earns First Round Bye In Win, Orange Inches Closer
Monday March 5, 2007
The Green Machine cannot get it going even with Craig Landry switching from player/coach to full time coach
and leading his team from the bench. Green falls to 0-4 at the hands of improving Agent Orange, now in sole possession of
second place can earn a first round bye in the playoffs with a win over Blue blue next week.
Orange (54)- Suitter-9, J Coates-18, Easter-2, Becker-12, Mendola-2, K Coates-4, Hasty-7
Green (37)- Bland-8, Pratt-2, St Pierre-5, Towne-7, Matthews-3, Odess-4, Gould-4

Blue and Black matched up in a hard fought, scrappy game that took nearly 5 minutes for the first points
to be scored. Up until 30 seconds left to play the game mostly belonged to Blue. Down by 5 with 1:23 to play Black
called a timeout and looked for one last burst of energy. After a Jeff Barnes bucket the score was 29-26 and Dan Sandven nailed a
long 3 pointer after an inbounds play to tie it with less then :30 to go. The timeout proved to be costly after Black
couldn't stop a 10 foot baseline jumper from Brian Monahan with 6 seconds left to give Blue the lead. The ball then trailed
out of bounds and time ticked away as Black seemed almost unaware of how little time remained. "I wish I had that timeout
back," coach Cheslock said. "I guess without calling [the timeout] when we did, maybe we don't score the 5 to tie it in the
first place. Blue played a great game and though it was physical, it was physical both ways and the refs really let us play."
Blue (31)- McFarland-2, Grover-5, Monahan-6, Cooper-4, Bosse-8, Ford-6
Black (29)- Sandven-5, Gawne-1, Matthews-7, Johnson-6, Lent-2, Cheslock-1, Barnes-7

Gray earned a first round bye and the top seed in the playoffs with a comeback win over the Eagles in tonight's
thrid game.
Led by Mark Blanchette's 14, Gray squeaked out a 40-38 win and improve to 4-0. Maroon falls to 2-2 and into
a 2 way tie for third place with Blue. Maroon beat Blue earlier in the season so they control the tie breaker. A Blue
loss or a Maroon win next week will give Maroon the 3rd seed.

Gray Ends Black Dreams of 7-0!
Thursday March 1, 2007
Maroon's struggles continued Thursday night and they fell to 0-4 after a 15 point beating from
the rising Blue team. The cream is definitely beginning to separate, more specifically the likes of Blue, Black and Gray and
the other 3 teams will find it difficult to break into the upper echelon of the competitive league. Game 3 is still
in progress as this article is being written, but that game features two 1-2 teams. The winner will find themselves in sole
possession of 4th place and both teams will be facing one of the three 3-1 teams in week 5.
Maroon's troubles are likely not be over as they will not have perennial scorer Ben Gumm in a game against
the much miffed Black team next week. Maroon will have a difficult time getting 1 win this season, but their best chances
may be in weeks 6 & 7, playing Orange and Green. Though they lost to both earlier in the season.
Blue (61)- Grant-4, T Stinglen-25, Sicard-2, J Stinglen-7, Moore-17, Foster-6
Maroon (46)- Crowell-5, Sullivan-6, Maglaras-13, Buchanan-16, Gumm-6

After the last couple weeks-seeing Gray come alive-it was apparant they would not only be a legitimate team
come the playoffs, but it was also whispered among a group of growing believers that Gray was the one team that could actually
prevent Black from going undefeated. Tonight we witnessed that belief become a reality. It was a see-saw game that was
more about who would have the last burst. Gray jumped out front 14-6 and it looked like they were going to run away with the
game. But like a veteran team, Black remained composed and climbed back into it and by half time actually led 27-23 on
the heels of a 21-9 run. After storming through the first part of the second half, Black cooled off and here again
came Gray and with 3 minutes left in the game, Ben Locke nailed a 3 pointer to tie it at 49. Black would not score again and
their undefeated season went in the can.
Gray (56)- Herlily-10, Parmely-2, Royce-13, Leach-7, Locke-24
Black (49)- Sandven-2, Thyng-2, Bowker-2, Folger-10, Eames-3, Bingham-12, Dustin-8, Beers-10

Green came out with some kind of chip on their shoulder tonight and walked away with a win because of it.
Orange is no push over team, having scored 82 points against Gray 2 weeks ago. Rocky Flores was his usual loaded self, leading
all scores with 25 and maintaining his #2 ranking in the Top 20. But it wasn't enough against a Green team that felt like
it needed to make a statement. Now at .500 and having beaten the 2 lower teams in the league, Green will have to beat one
of the 2 remaining upper tier teams to prove they are worthy to hang with the big boys. Next week they'll play Gray, before
a replay against Maroon in week 6. In the season finale they'll face Black for the second time. Assuming they beat Maroon
again, Green would have to beat Gray or Black to finish 4-3. Even that would not be enough for a first round bye, but it might
be enough to give them confidence going into the playoffs, knowing they can beat some of the better teams. Orange's
road is very similar but with tonight's loss they find themselves in a much worse predicament. They'll be looking at a 4 seed
at best and that's if they can win out and finish 4-3. But winning out won't be easy with consecutive games against Blue and
Gray before playing Maroon in week 7. All playoff scenarios should become much clearer after next week's games and only 2
weeks remaining.
Green (69)- Broadbent-6, Cheslock-11, Cove-18, I Guptill-6, S Gutpill-4, Hartwell-13, Swett-11
Orange (53)- Gaudie-6, Cloutier-8, Wong-4, Flores-25, Coates-10

Gray Improves to 3-0; Green struggles in battle of 0-2's
Monday February 26, 2007
Arty Lane managed 11 points despite Black's attempt to key on him for most of the game and he managed to
once again lead his team to a win. This time Lane's support came from Ryan Hansen who added 10 in Gray's 34-28 win over Black.
Shorthanded again, Black was run down by a deeper bench and more athletic team. "We played much better this
week, but we still made alot of mistakes," new big man Jeff Barnes said. "We're going to have to make adjustments [due
to the lack of] a true point guard." Barnes catapulted himself deep into the Top 20 with his 18 points tonight but he
didn't receive much help as the other 6 players totaled 10 points. Black falls to 1-2 on the season. Gray remains undefeated.
Gray (34)- Mark Bianchette-3, Arty Lane-11, Ryan Hansen-10, Nick Caswell-8, John Batchelder-2

Game 3 action: Orange v Maroon |

|
Orange gets the upset and slips into 2nd place |
Orange was able to put a stop to a Maroon team that looked like the team to beat and now Gray remains the
lone team at the top. "Win won for the coach" didn't stand tonight as Maroon coach Andrew Lytle has been sidelined for at
least a couple weeks, out with surgery. Lytle hopes to return for the playoffs, but for the immediate future, Maroon needs
to get back on track, falling from being the league's elite to now being in danger of losing out on a bye. Despite a tie for
second place with Orange, Maroon has sole possesion of 3rd place, because a tie in the standings would fall Orange's way with
the head to head win. Josh Coates led the way with 15 and Pat Easter sealed the win drawing a hard foul late in the game from
Mike Dean. Dean was teed up for the first technical of the season.

Moore Hits The Deck In Blue Win; Black Now at 3-0
Thursday February 22, 2007
Joel Beers missed the first half, but Black
seemed to roll right along without him in a 54-37 mopping of Orange. The league's second highest scorer, Rocky Flores couldn't
make the game and that was an obvious setback for Orange. "Any time you lose one of the top scorers, you're going to feel
it," a player commented.
Black's offense was well distributed in points with Luke Folger leading the way with 12. Mike Cella and Scott Cloutier
(in his first appearance of the season) shared the Orange lead with 10 each.
Black improves to 3-0 and seems to be running away with the division title, but they'll face a tough Gray team next week.
Orange drops to 1-2 and will face the equally struggling Green.
Black (54) Sandven-2, Thyng-6, Bowker-4, Folger-12, Eames-11, Bingham-9, Dustin-6, Beers-4

Green is struggling to find it's niche but they put forth a
solid effort tonight, scoring 56 in a tough loss to the speedier Blue. It was a well played game all the way through but Blue
held the lead most of the way. Led by TJ Stinglen's 27 points, Blue improves to 2-1 after falling to Black last week.
James Broadbent hit all 9 of his points in the second half to help keep his team close but Green failed
to capitalize when Blue went on a cold stretch midway through the last half. The game got more physical as it neared
the end and with about 5 minutes remaining Irvin Moore drew a big foul on Dave Swett, taking an elbow to the face. After about
15 seconds on the floor Moore got up to shoot his free throws and was heard saying, "That was good stuff," referring to Swett's
hard foul and getting a rise out of the fans.
Blue was able to hold of the fiesty Green team with a 66-56 win.
Blue (66)- J Grant-2, T Grant-2, T Stinglen-27, Sicard-9, J Stinglen-8, Moore-16, Foster-2

Maroon is starting off with a difficult season despite some good talent
and fresh reinforcements in their 3rd game. Tim Buchanan scored 12 in his season debut and Todd Maglaras added 13 after missing
last week. Ben Gumm also chipped in 12 as an ever present mainstay.
But Gray also got their round of replacements with the additions of Jeremy Parmely and Collin Cooper. Ben
Locke cooled off from outside the arc, but Gray has 4 dominant figures now with size and speed: Royce, Locke, Cooper and Parmely.
They may be the only team who can stop Black and next week's game should be a real show. If Gray can put on the floor
next week the same team they had tonight, and if Locke can find his touch from outside, Black may find it tough to run with
this team.

Norm LaPlante's absence was probably not as big a factor as it seemed because with or without Norm, Black
made a ton of terrible mistakes, which were a direct result of the pressure Orange put on them the entire game. Orange
played tenacious defense from start to finish and that proved the get the best of Black. Without a true point guard Black posted
a score of turnovers--probably 1 for everyone point they notched in their 37-23 loss. The Orange win pulls them into a 1-1
tie with Black a game behind the rec. leaders.

Alone At The Top: Black Remains Only Unbeaten Team
Thursday February 15, 2007
In Thursday's main event, Blue (1-0) took on Black (1-0) and the winner
would come out as the only remaining team left unbeaten. Gray had already beaten Orange in Game 1 so the night cap would guarantee
1 team alone at the top.
Blue didn't stand a chance from the get go for several reasons. TJ and Jordan Stinglen seemed to have off
nights and couldn't catch fire until the second half. Of the pair's 30 points only 10 came in the first half. Black also played
exceptional interior defense with Joel Beers and Jim Bingham keeping shooters out of the paint for much of the first half.
Blue also had to play the first frame without the help of big man Irvin Moore. He was able to show up in the 2nd half and
chipped in for 7 but it was too late.
This is the kind of game you don't want to have, but if you do, it's better to have it in week 2 than in
the playoffs. Blue will have plenty of time to adjust and we may see these 2 square off again in late March or even in April's
title game. They will also meet again in Week 6 and the Stinglen brothers will need to bring their 'A' game to upend the championship
favorites.
Black (62)- Jim Bingham-25, Luke Folger, 6, Matt Thyng-3, Esteban Rosa-4, Jamie Bowker-4, Joel Beers-18,
Jason Dustin-2
Blue (44)- TJ Stinglen-18, Jordan Stinglen-12, Mark Sicard-2, Irvin Moore-7, Tyson Foster-5
3ptrs: Black-2 (Bingham, Thyng), Blue-5 (TJ Stinglen-3, Moore, Foster)
_____________________________________________
Game 1 was a night for padding player's stats. Orange and Gray each had 4 players and the floor was spread
wide and the scoring was plentiful. Rocky Flores has secured himself a place in the Top 20 for sometime with his 54 point
outburst and yet it wasn't enough to keep his team undefeated. Orange scored 82 and still lost! Gray's leading scorer, Ben
Locke had once again shocked the league. As if last week's 9 three pointers weren't enough he broke his own record and banged
12 from downtown leading Gray with 48 points en route to a 105-82 win and moving up into a 4 way tie in the league's standings
at 1-1.
Gray (105)- Ben Locke-48, Chris Royce-17, Tyler Leach-24, Josh Herlily-16
Orange (82)- PJ Gaudie-14, Mike Cella-12, Greg Silva-2, Rocky Flores-54
3ptrs: Gray-13 (Locke-12, Royce), Orange-10 (Flores-6, Gaudie-2, Cella-2)

The middle game featured Green against Maroon and the losers would drop to 0-2. Maroon had a strong first
half thanks in large part to the solid play of Jesse Utoh and Ben Gumm but being shorthanded they would run out of steam.
Green struggled to contain the 2 big men until midway through the 2nd half when, down by 9 they went on a 12-0 burst to take
a 38-35 lead. The speed of Green took over and forced what seemed like 5 or 6 turnovers in a 2-3 minute span. The new life
gave Green enough to to extend the lead even further. 13 of Dave Swet's 19 came in the 2nd half and James Broadbent
hit back to back 3 pointers with 3 minutes left to ice the game.
Green (62)- Dave Swet-19, Ian Gutpill-12, Dave Eastman-3, Steve Gutpill-2, Craig Cove-13, Mike Cheslock-2,
James Broadbent-8, Eli Poole-3
Maroon (49)- Bob Sullivan-4, Jesse Utoh-14, Jermaine Moore-5, Sean Casey-6, Ben Gumm-20
3ptrs: Green-6 (Swet-2, Broadbent-2, Eastman, I. Guptill), Maroon-1 (Moore)

Black, Gray and Maroon Win In Season Opener
Monday February 12, 2007
The story in Game 1 was turnovers. If Orange could have held on to the ball the outcome may have been different.
Gray and Orange ran well together and the game was a high scoring 48-40 win for Gray but Orange may have shot themselves in
the foot. For much of the first half, passes were slipping through teammates fingers forcing numerous turnovers and erasing
countless scoring opportunities. Led by Arty Lane's 17, Gray was able to capitalize and keep an arm's length for most of the
game.
Gray- Shawn Hansen-2, Mark Bianchette-8, Arty Lane-17, Ryan Hansen-7, Ted Long-3, Nick Caswell-11
Orange-
Lee Suitter-5, Josh Coates-12, Pat Easter-6, Harland Gordan-2, Ken Coates-1, Jason Hasty-14
3ptrs- Gray-2 (R. Hansen,

Black kept Green down until youth took over in the second half, running the Hawks into the ground. With
a very deep and very young bench, Green was able to climb back into a game in which Black seemed to control from the early
going. A clutch 3 pointer from Nick Pratt cut a late 6 point deficit in half and gave Green new life, but time ran out and
Black was able to hold a slim edge, 31-29, for the win.
Black- Dan Sandven-2, Norm LaPlante-7, Lew Ricker-6, Chris
Matthews-2, Eric Johnson-9, John Cheslock-5
Green- Josh Bland-4, Nick Pratt-5, Luke St Pierre-2, Mark Towne-2, James
Bland-2, Jeff Odess-3, Ernie Matthews-4, Craig Landry-3, John Gould-2, Chris St Pierre-2

The final game of the night featured Maroon and Blue. Though fairly low scoring the game was exciting and
fast paced. The finish was a nail biter and though Maroon held on for a 3 point win, Blue kept the game close and had several
chances to tie the game late.

Corey Haigh-6, Nick Davis-1

The middle game featured Black and Green and though posting only 54, Black looks like the early favorite for the league
title. Matching up against a strong Green team, Black played well and won by 11, keeping Green to just 43 points. Led by Joel
Beers' 18 an Jim Bingham's 17, Black should have a more physical team unlike their speedy Blue and Orange counterparts.

In the evening's finale, speed was the name of the game. Despite short benches on both sides, the hustle was pretty much
nonstop and the game was back and forth though Orange led much of the way. Maroon had a few chances down the stretch to take
the lead but always squandered the opportunities and Orange finally finished them off, 61-59.
Orange- Rick Murphy-10, PJ Gaudie-14, Mike Cella-5, Josh Coates-8, Rocky Flores-24
Maroon-Bob Sullivan-7, Todd Maglaras-15, Jermaine Moore-3, Sean Casey-8, Donny Crowell-12, Ben Gumm-14

The ARC Debuts With Doubleheader
Monday February 5, 2007
It may only have been a couple of exhibition games, but Eliot Baptist's long awaited gym, the ARC (Almighty's Recreation Center)
debuted Monday night with a pair of rec. games.
In the opener, Maroon held on to a very slim lead after jumping out in front on Gray. The second half was a more tightly
contested game. Arty Lane had a chance to give Gray their first lead-and the win-on an outside jumper with 4 seconds left.
The shot fell short and Maroon held on 30-29.
Mike Dean led Maroon with 8 and all eight players scored at least 2 points each. Arty Lane led Gray with 8.
______________
In the nightcap, Blue out hustled Black all night and came away with an impressive 34-26 win. Dana Grover and Joe McFarland
led blue with 9 and 8 respectively while Black's Norm LaPlante was the evening's high scorer with 10.
"We had a tough night," Blackhawks captain John Cheslock said after the game. "We have to work on a few
things before next week's opener but I think we have a pretty good team. We'll get a couple guys next week that we didn't
have tonight and they should make an impact and give us some depth. We'll be alright.... we'll be alright."
Next week's lineup:
Orange vs Gray at 6:30
Green vs Black at 7:30
Maroon vs Blue at 8:30
